BROOKLYN, NY - The Brooklyn Italians are delighted to announce the launch of their new after school program this fall, with three schools in the local area taking part in the exciting initiative. Public Schools 127, 185 and 230 will all be participating in the program, which will deliver high quality training to their students in grades K – 5.

“We’re delighted to be working with these schools as they really share our philosophy of trying to help local kids get access to sport. The program is really about us trying to give back to the community that has served us so well for so many years. As the biggest and most well known club in Brooklyn, it’s important that we embrace the responsibility of making sure as many kids as possible are introduced to the game in an affordable, fun and learning-conducive environment.”

Qualified coaches from the Brooklyn Italians youth development department will be delivering the training sessions once a week to as many as 45 children at each school. The program is licensed by the NYC DOE and will be starting at the beginning of October.
