ABOUT THE ACADEMY PROGRAM
The New York Red Bulls Academy Affiliate Program, part of the MLS Youth Affiliate Network, is a platform designed to improve the player identification and development of elite youth level players by providing greater access to high level soccer opportunities.
The most talented players within the Academy Affiliate Program participate in co-partnered elite player development and talent identification programs operated by both the Affiliate club and the New York Red Bulls Academy. In addition, each Affiliate has a tailored coaching education schedule around elite level player identification and development.
Travel teams
We have travel teams for boys and girls born in the years 2007-2016 and a pre-travel team for boys and girls born in 2017.
Scuola Calcio development Program

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Should families expect that registration will get more expensive?
No. The Red Bulls partnership will not require any additional cost at registration for the players and families. The club is a not-for-profit entity and, as such, relies heavily on fundraising and donations to offer a very affordable registration price for its annual program. The Board is hard at work to ensure that registration remains consistent with the past cost of business operations and now offers even more to all players and parents.
What is the overall impact on the coaches and the players?
The impact on the club will be comprehensive across all disciplines. The administrators and coaches will have access to the Red Bulls coaching education program and player development curriculum. The players will have the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of the New York Red Bulls scouts and coaches who will be present throughout the year. This partnership will include supplementary training opportunities for our players at the Red Bulls training facility for our top talents. The Brooklyn Italians Soccer Club will have tailored seasonal scheduling to allow for games versus Red Bulls Academy teams.
Will any other teams in Brooklyn be partnering with the Red Bulls?
No. The Brooklyn Italians Soccer Club has been named the only Red Bulls Academy Affiliate for the entire borough of Brooklyn. The Brooklyn Italians Soccer Club will be the place for Red Bulls to watch, nurture and select the top talents throughout the borough of Brooklyn.
In what ways will the club change?
Our players and families will continue to enjoy all the things that the club has built over the past 72 years. In addition, with the support of Major League Soccer and New York Red Bulls, the club will have a tremendous opportunity to offer more resources to the players and families including an unparalleled platform to showcase both team and individual talent. The affiliation will provide our coaches and players with the best soccer education curriculum as well as an opportunity to develop and compete at the very top level of soccer in the United States.
What can we expect in terms of exposure for the club?
The Brooklyn Italians Soccer Club and New York Red Bulls will be evaluating opportunities to enter select teams to compete at the highest youth level of soccer in the United States. Further, New York Red Bulls talent ID centers will be scheduled throughout the year.
