Joe Barone Unveiled as ACF Fiorentina’s General Manager
BROOKLYN, NY - Joe Barone, lifelong Brooklyn Italians member, is officially unveiled as ACF Fiorentina’s General Manager. Barone will oversee the day to day operations of the club including, the transfer market, and managing the staff.
Barone played an integral part of running the Brooklyn Italians Soccer Club for many years. He served as NPSL League Chairman through the club and grew the league to its current status. Joe moved on to serve as the Senior Vice President of the New York Cosmos. When Rocco B. Commisso purchased ACF Fiorentina, Joe was announced to be placed permanently in Florence to serve as the Sporting Director.
